Where we deliver
We ship to every UK postcode, no exclusions. That includes:
- England, Wales, Scottish Lowlands — standard 2–4 working days
- Scottish Highlands & Islands — 3–5 working days (Shetland, Orkney, Hebrides, inc. HS, IV, KW, PH postcodes)
- Northern Ireland — 3–5 working days via overnight ferry freight
- Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands — 4–7 working days
We do not currently ship outside the UK. If you're based in the EU, Ireland, or elsewhere and want to order — email us and we'll let you know when we expand.
How long it takes
Because we make our desks to order, your total wait time depends on what you ordered:
- Peripherals only — dispatched within 24 hours, delivered in 2–4 days
- Chairs only — assembled in Leicester, dispatched 3–5 working days, delivered in 5–8 days total
- Core Series desks — dispatched 5–7 working days, delivered in 7–11 days total
- Solid Oak desks — cut to order in Sheffield, 10–14 day production + 2–4 day delivery (12–18 days total)
- Mixed orders — we hold everything and ship together, so timing follows the slowest item
What it costs
Delivery is free on every order, to every UK address. No minimum spend, no surcharges for bulky items, no "remote area" fees.
We charge what we charge because shipping is built into the product price. This way we don't pretend a £5 desk costs £5 and hit you with £95 delivery at checkout.
After you reserve
When you reserve an order, here's exactly what happens:
- Immediately — confirmation email with your order ID
- Day 1–14 — we produce, assemble, and QC your items
- Day before dispatch — we email you a payment link. You pay then, not before
- Dispatch day — tracking number emailed, typically dispatched by 2pm
- Delivery day — carrier texts you a 2-hour window
You can cancel any time between reservation and payment link, no questions asked and no charge.
Tracking
Every order ships with a tracking number. For desks and chairs we use DX Freight (2-man delivery, room of your choice). For peripherals we use DPD or Royal Mail Tracked 48.
You'll receive a tracking link by email at dispatch. On delivery day, the carrier will text a 2-hour window. You can rebook via their app if the time doesn't work.
Failed delivery
- First miss — carrier leaves a card, redelivers next working day free
- Second miss — item returns to local depot, you book a collection or re-delivery
- Third miss — item returns to us. Refund minus £25 return-shipping fee for bulky items (peripherals no fee)
To avoid this, use delivery notes at checkout — porch, neighbour, secure shed etc. For desks and chairs this isn't possible (signature required).
Large items — what to expect
Desks and chairs ship via 2-person delivery. They'll:
- Carry the box to the room of your choice (ground floor or up to one flight of stairs)
- Leave it in packaging for you to unbox
- Not assemble or install (keeps delivery free)
- Take away packaging on request
